....really?

Recently I've found a lot of my art posted on various sites that I haven't given permission to. :P Many of my pics have been altered (like the char recolored or background and my sig removed) but some are just posted as I uploaded them to my gallery on deviantArt and on TLKFAA. Now I've got the work of tracking down the person or the owner of whatever blog to get these images taken down or at least credited. -_-  Ya know, sometimes I wish I couldn't draw, then I would never have to worry about art thief. >< But drawing is my passion so I could never let that happen. xD

But really, my art is

- NOT your coloring book
- NOT your free lineart
- NOT pretty pics for your MySpace, FaceBook, -or- LiveJournal
- NOT your free characters
- NOT your new website banner
- NOT for roleplaying
- NOT your blog background
- NOT pics for your homework cover. (Really. I had someone try that once in 11th grade. >n>)

MY art is not YOURS!

I work hard on the stuff I do. :P I don't appreciate people coming behind my back, taking the pics I put hours into making. I really don't see how someone can be happy about taking someone's picture.

...This is why I'm open for commissions. If you like my art, help support me by asking me to do you a commission. If I know you in real life, I'll do it for hardly nothing. ;3 $3-5 for a fully colored traditional 8 1/2" x 11" pic or $5-7 for a 11" x 17" pic. No humans atm though, still practicing. xD All you have to do is ask.

Only taking commissions for people I know in real life or people willing to get me a deviantArt subscription atm. ;3

Until next update,

Secret Santa preparations under way! :DD

Even though the Secret Santa project on TLKFAA doesn't start for another 2 months or so (although I've heard registration starts end of Oct.), I've already starting getting things prepared for that time of year. :P Everyone knows I'll need all that extra time anyway. xD So starting this weekend, I'll be redoing the references of the character I'll be asking people to draw this year. They'll be more detailed then what my normal refs are.

Character sheets I'll be redoing:

  •  Manjoume
  • Anderson
  • Leo & Luna
  • Kazumi
  • Yuuki
  • Aki
  • Kuhn
I'll be editing this list as I start and finish ref sheets. :D If you see a * beside a name, it means the sheet is finished and a link to the ref will be put up. I'm aiming to have all of the above done by end of Oct through mid-Nov. ;3

Character of the Week: Anderson

I think I'll start featuring a "Character of the Week" here, just to give me a reason to update my blog every so often. ;3 You guys enjoy seeing my charries anyway. xD

This week's character is Anderson,. the gray Bengal tiger cub:

Profile:

As a cub, Anderson is known to most as carefree, naive, and too brave for his own good. However, when he grows up, he becomes a responsible and respected adult tiger.

When Anderson was young, he was always teased because of his unusual gray colored fur and lack of interesting stripe pattern. He didn't mind though and was actually quite proud of his pelt. He always said they were just jealous and wished they had fur the same color as his. Anderson then met an equally unusual tiger cub named Andante and the two became instant friends. Anderson acts as the more dominant cub between himself and Andante, always making every decision between the two. This often gets them both into trouble.

As an adult, Anderson's personality changes quite dramatically. He learns that life isn't all about taking risks, and starts to think plans completely through before taking action. He is still considered brave and would do anything to protect his family and friends.

 Facts:

Anderson was actually first created back in 2005 as a gray tiger named Kaiser. In March of 2008, I found an old picture of him and decided to bring him back as Anderson, the gray Bengal tiger cub. His design has since been changed quite a bit.

Besides Manjoume, Anderson is my second most used character. His personality is the exact opposite of my Snow Liger fursona.
